Product Description
ULTRAJEN Tablets combine tramadol hydrochloride, an opioid analgesic that acts on the central nervous system, with paracetamol, a non-opioid analgesic. The two act through different mechanisms to relieve pain.
It is a prescription-only medicine, used under medical supervision for pain when a registered medical practitioner decides that this combination is appropriate. The pack states that tramadol should be used for severe acute pain only, for a period not exceeding 5 days.

Directions for use

Storage
Store protected from moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
Important safety information
The pack warns that it is dangerous to take this preparation except in accordance with medical advice.
Tramadol is an opioid: it can cause dependence, drowsiness and potentially life-threatening breathing problems. Avoid alcohol, do not drive or operate machinery if drowsy or dizzy, and tell your doctor about all medicines you take, especially sedatives, sleeping medicines, other opioids and antidepressants.
Warning on the pack: taking more than the daily dose of paracetamol may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash). Do not take other medicines that contain paracetamol unless your doctor advises it.
Seek emergency medical help for slow or difficult breathing, inability to stay awake, or a suspected overdose.
